The lone surviving terrorist remained in news through the week. He was owned up by his parents in Pakistan.
"I was in denial for the first couple of days, now I have accepted it. This
is the truth. This is my son Ajmal," Amir Kasab was quoted as having told Dawn
of Pakistan in his first interview to the media since his son's arrest. While the
government of Pakistan continued to be in denial mode, Kasab also shot off a a three-page letter in Urdu, seeking "consular access" and legal aid from the Pakistan High Commission.
He said in the letter that he and Ismail Khan, who was killed while Kasab was
captured, are Pakistan nationals. He wanted Ismail’s body taken to Pakistan for cremation.
Meanwhile, Indian Muslim bodies have said that they would not allow the nine
dead bodies to be cremated in the soil of India,
