Jammu V/s Kashmir

>>>"Mufti Sayeed, after stepping down as the CM in October 2005, had treated the new Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad with utter disdain"

If Gulam Nabhi Azad is from the 'disdained' jammu region, he should work for a separate Jammu state in the indian union, with no article 370 application for it. State can be named 'yaamuneSwari' state, in honour of the VaishNavi temple there.

Jammu V/s Kashmir

>>>""Islam is a reality in Kashmir, which was chosen here by the people to liberate themselves from the highly oppressive social, economic and religious order established by the Brahaminical system."

Perhaps true, considering that most of kashmiri hindus seem to be only brahmin 'pandits', no NBs. The reason could be, that only philo-minded hindus went up to high-pmountain terrains for peace in meditation etc. Hence perhaps, Adi Sankara won his spiritual debates and ascended the 'all-knower' sarvagjna-peeTha position, in kashmir. Non-pandit hindus there might have been only fishermen and hunters, dissociated from the ascetic and austere pandits; these might have been easily converted to islam when the arabs and turks landed there after destroyng buddheism in gandhara. Oppression by brahmins, the wrong reason.

Perhaps, brahmins in the earlier centuries had the spiritual powers to keep the invader moslems at bay, also maintain leadership in society and sustain a hindu ruler for kashmir. But, latter-day pandits were only nominally 'learned', but only baniyas in profession; hence, they could easily be driven out of kashmir into independant hindu India. Even otherwise, they would, probably, have preferred to move to benares, mathura or puri or kanchi, with their families.

The Pox And After

Outlook:

Please have an independent body review the postings of Ghulam Faruki whose association with CAIR in the US was openly criticized by 2 senior Senators(Schuhmacher from NY and Dick Durbibn from Illinois). He never once provides proof in support of his wild allegations and he is a source of deep embarrassment to the Outlook fraternity. He confessed to having the fascist Ahmedinezad as one of his two heroes in this very forum and is too senile to recall having written such a post!

Violence (terror) and Untruth are the twin characteristics of Fascism and the Islamic ideology had the consistent record of validating this fact, since inception

The Pox And After

"Trying to bluster your way out of your lies again? You have advocated murders as well as genocide in this very forum." Anwar Patel

Your deceit and lies are fully exposed, by now. Not only you failed to substantiate a single allegation since they were all fabrications, you
cleverly let the discussion divert away from those who made 350,000 Pundits in Kashmir homeless and even disappear! Bombings in every major city?

You have repeatedly abused the privileges of free speech and proved yet again that you are a product of an abusive ideology full of intolerance and hatred for the "other"

Your nefarious activities in the US in support of terrorist-infested CAIR will be dealth in a separate post

Kumaon Diary

The young man informed me that he was a "dubbul MA in Ingliss and Hindi literature" "So what do you do?" I asked him. "What is there to do here?" he countered. "Nothing," he muttered sullenly.
