dvsecular 8/27/2006 10:24:49 PM (#66 of 74) It indeed is a great forum to understand the perverted Marxist mindset in one place.
I have not seen any better site than outlook freespeech to gaze the hatred inside a Marxist and their allies, toward Hindus and Indian civilization.

Hilalahmed 4/21/2008 9:07:37 PM (#67 of 74) Outlook magazine has been my favourite magazine since its launch. Mostly, I had reserved them whichever I bought from the street. When, I surfed on the net, I searched for Outlook Magazine. Then I got to know the "Free Speech'. It really astonished me and gave me an opportunity to comment on a series of subjects. But it pains that some persons out of hatred are misusing its purpose. In my opinion, such platforms must not be used for hatred, abuse or outrage. It purpose must be to encourage a positive outlook to strengthen the social values, despite adopting different ways of life whether in religious faith, economical status, linguistic or regional interest, so on and so forth. It should always be used as a tool of effective, positive and social togetherness, awereness and conversation. I ....Full Message

smbawa 6/26/2008 5:26:07 AM (#68 of 74) Freedom of speech is one of the fundamental rights in a Democracy. Do we have it uniformly? In India the most recent case of perversion of this fundamental right was towards Taslima Nasreen. When Imams issued a fatwa for her head, where were these Human Rights Advocates? Taslima was hounded out of India, she left with broken dreams and sour taste of so-called Indian Democracy.
M.F. Hussain could have freedom to paint Hindu Gods in nude, but Taslima could not write about persecution of Hindus in Bangladesh. Is that a uniform freedom of expression?

umashiv 6/28/2008 6:57:57 PM (#69 of 74) Deleting, removing some abusive, vulgar and inflamatory posts is alright but some free speech on habits such as smoking or drinking and its positive side should not be. Many bloggers comment on that and its ill effects, if any, will be neutralized. Anyone who reads these pages should understand that he is just reading others point of view and should take it or leave it or post his comments on it. It is just the way you go denouncing or praising Thakarey's free speech.

MarieDevine 7/12/2008 1:32:15 AM (#70 of 74) Free Speech allows an unknown like me to post solutions the G-8 were not willing to bring up. Sometimes this type solution gets blocked and all suffer, staying longer in world problems.
President Bush does not have power to stop global warming, the energy-food crisis, or pollution until we (USA) as a nation see our errors. The developing nations of China, India, Brazil, Mexico and South Africa etc. need to see the reality of our prosperity; it is an illusion. We must leave our family and possessions to go out most of the week to work to pay the bills. That is not prosperity, especially when we are polluting the world, making us sick, and spending our profits on medical insurance and needs. This is not SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT. It is an easy matter to get them to stop polluting ....Full Message

pkgca 8/29/2008 1:02:06 AM (#71 of 74) Apropos of Arundhati Roy’s assertion about Kashmir needs severest condemnation by all Nationalists and sane Indians. She has decimated the most valuable contribution made by our Freedom Fighters and Statesmen of Pre and Post Independence era. Their clan including neo writers-jurnos got western recognition to denigrate the nation and our Motherland. The war is not between Kasmiiri Muslims and Hindus but Nationalists and Seperatists. And Arundhati is, perhaps in search of a Broker’s award this time.

nandu1f 2/21/2009 9:09:04 PM (#74 of 74) The basic fault is that there is a law in India to be able ban books and public writing -political, research, sociological, etc. I do not recommend American style free-speech protection. A case can be made to ban graphic sexual and gory violence material of extreme prurient interest from public sources and access like movies and media sources. As youngsters we used laugh at the movie censorship; now in hindsight I favor it, since commercial exploitation, not free-speech ideals is behind misuse of such freedom. I know academic purists will jump on the bandwagon as to who will decide "extreme prurient interest", but those guidelines are not very difficult to establish. In simple terms, a panel of people raising school-going children can be a good censorship board. But political, ....Full Message
