Gujarat's Asmita, Aamir Khan, Apology

Aamir Khan was targeted and vilified for his stand on the NBA when all he had said was that he was supporting NBA on the proper rehabilitation of the displaced and the oustees. The BJP Yuva Morcha's fatwa that his new release Fanaa or any other movie that he stars in, will not be allowed to be screened in Gujarat once again goes to eerily show how mobocracy and intimidatory tactics continue to be employed by the ruling party in the name of protecting Gujarat's asmita. as a citizen of india amir khan has right to express his opinions. And another thing is that no one is against the dam.but the peoples who are donating there each and everything must be benefated.no one can tell to the big personalities,industrialists to donate somthing which they can. but all are against the comman man who is ready to donate his each and every.

well well, I see some favourite time pass, bashing saffron brigade.
I thought the discussion was about boycott of Fanna.
Well, Amir Khan should have thought (if he has mind of his own) that SC has given orders based on reports and boycotting is nothing but acting against SC.
Similarily, Gujarat people decided to boycott Fanna and stopped screening. What is the problem. If aamir has right to object, so has the people of Gujarat and we dont give a damn to millions of such aamir.

In Gujarat the pirated DVDs and VCDs of Fanaa is selling like hot cakes. It is available in almost every galli. First of all theatre print appeared and thereafter true original like prints of this movie is available. Even the cable wallahs have shown it several times. The man who committed suicide protesting against screening of this film must be turning in his grave. People who initiate such silly bans on films and other such things must learn a lesson from this and see the futility of it all.

To SanatanShakthi, Please collect more information the Mongols were not Muslims when they started massacring people when they converted they stopped and built vast empire where everyone lived together. The Mongols were responsible for the demise of islamicempire in the middle east after all that they liked the Islamic way of living hey started to convert and lived peacefully.If you want to know more about ISlam please watch Kingdom of Faith which will give you the picture of true Islamic Empire.Now you link all this without knowledge, I can link many things which you dont want to listen to so Please read history before commenting thank You.

No body can deny what Aamir said was quite right.Staging protests against him and banning the fims in which he was only a part is an uncalled for situation. If a celebrated actor is voicing his concerns for the poor, he must be encouraged with open arms.Celebrities have the power and charisma to move people as well as authorities into action. It requires a great effort for any individual to come out in the open and speak for the hapless, powerless and harmless poor persons.Amartya sen has rightly said that "Silence is the powerful enemy of Social justice". The best example is Jessica lal's case.

We Gujus have nothing to apologise for.We first seek an apology from the Muslims who live in India for the terrible terrible mass rape of our womenfolk loot,plunder,slaughter,destruction of thousands of our places of worship and other atrocities inflicted upon us over the centuries.Thank God for the British for rescuing us infidels from these savages.Now the whole world knows the true nature of these people and that is why they are absolutely despised and loathed everywhere they infest.
