Twin Terror Attacks In Hyderabad

sundeep    25-AUG-07
Barely three months after the blasts in Mecca Masjid' in two near-simultaneous terror attacks' more than 30 people are killed and many injured. The state home minister already alleges ISI involvement, leading to questions as to why no action was taken if the state knew the ISI designs, as he claims they did. What do you think?

It is indeed saddening to read all this. As an Indian, I,d like to ask this question to the powers that be. These sort of atrocities keep on happening at regular intervals and we keep on blaming the Pakistani terrorists and then nothing happens. Again there is an atrocity and again we blame them and nothing happens. This is going on ad nauseam. Can our politicians, instead of blaming each other, come together in the national interest and proactively liquidate the terrorists before they liquidate our innocent compatriots? This should be an ongoing process and if you,ll don,t have the guts to do it,please step aside and let the military have a free hand. We are being attacked in our own country time and again and keep on blaming each other and the Pakistani crooks and then forgetting about ....Full Message

sapr3333,terrorism is a big and serious business today. It provides employment to the unemployed, the terrorists can be used to terrorize an opponent/rival like how the congress is using the Naxalites to silence the TRS in Andhra Pradesh, politicians getting dirty money, advocates getting cases to fight etc etc.And in the case of Muslim terrorism its not out of any social imbalance but its fanaticism of the community. There is no cure for this.

The people in India have realized that the administration has no will and spine to fight terror. It thinks its job is over the moment such dastardly incident happens then immediately call the press and give bold statements that the guilty will be punished, the identities of the perpetrators been established, blaming some neighboring countries and announcing hefty compensations to the victims. The political game ends there. If it goes this way it wont be long when we may have a holocaust where the targets will not be the terrorists but those sympathizers of the terrorists and the politicians who are going soft on terrorism.

People, whether Indians or foreigners, will continue to engage in violent acts because they know they will get away with it. Our political masters ensure this by not enforcing the law. Behind almost every serious crime in this country there appears a politician.

* Though there may have been no bomb blasts in US after 9/11 because of bush but that is still a very huge price to pay. Becoming a bigger bully is never a solution.

* Transfering politicians as a solution doesn't really make sense as you'll just be replacing one joker for the other.

* "terrorists are the modern kalidasas", hey totnot, explain this na

Importance of media is more and more vital now & media should take higher level of responsibility.

I wish to emphasis on local terrorist activity for which govt do not have any measure or system to eradicate. Even govt is thinks that if they take any action against terrorist which may spoil their vote bank. This reveals Hydrabad terrorist firing issue. Media has not taken any sort of more inquisitive on this impotent issue. Hydrabad local police has gone by bike to catch a terrorist also took him to same bike, but his fellow terrorist shoot police and got back that man. It reveals our very weakness towards terrorist and govt underestimate everything, they don’t know what is happening around and what to do. I request media to focus on local issue also & strongly feel that most of ....Full Message
