Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen certainly enjoys a loyal fan base which she has cultivated with her webseries 'Aarya'.
Sushmita Sen, who will next be seen in the third season of her hit web series ‘Aarya’, has started shooting for the same. Detailing the same, the actress shared a video to give a glimpse of her titular character, and we must say, she is back and how.
Sushmita posted the first teaser of her upcoming web series, ‘Aarya’ season 3, and we must say, she is back and how. The teaser features Sushmita smoking a cigar in style with a pistol kept on the table in front of it. She is then seen loading her pistol in the teaser.
Sharing the teaser video on Instagram, the actress wrote, "She is back, and she means business #HotstarSpecials #Aarya3 , Now shooting." Wearing a black full-sleeves top, she is also sporting big sunglasses. Watch it here:
For the unversed, Sushmita made her OTT debut with ‘Aarya’ in June 2020. In the series, Sushmita plays the protagonist, a powerful and strong woman who crosses all boundaries to protect her family from the world of crime. She eventually joins a mafia gang in order to get revenge for her husband's murder.
Speaking about her role in Season 3, Sushmita had told IANS, "'Aarya' is synonymous with my name. I have lived as Aarya for two whole seasons and the love received by the audiences has only encouraged me to do more. Walking on the sets of Aarya Season 3 makes me feel at home and gives me a sense of empowerment." The first two seasons of the show were loved by critics and viewers alike.
The first season was even nominated for the Best Drama series at the International Emmy Awards. Directed by Ram Madhvani, ‘Aarya’ also stars Sikander Kher, Namit Das, Manish Chaudhari and Vinod Rawat among others. Produced by Endemol Shine India, 'Aarya' Season 3 will soon release on Disney+ Hotstar.
