'Adipurush' dialogue writer Manoj Muntashir has issued an apology note for hurting 'people's emotions'. He has shared the note on Instagram and Twitter handles.
Prabhas and Kriti Sanon starrer 'Adipurush' landed into controversy post his release on June 16. The makers were slammed for the dialogues written by Manoj Muntashir. They received severe backlash on social media. Now, Manoj has issued an ‘unconditional’ apology on his social media handles. He has accepted that 'Adipurush' has hurt 'people's emotions'.
In the apology note, Manoj wrote, "I accept people’s emotions have been hurt by Adipurush. With folded hands, I extend my unconditional apologies. May Prabhu Bajrang Bali keep us united and grant us strength to serve our sacred Sanatan and our great nation. #Adipurush".

Directed by Om Raut, 'Adipurush' starred Prabhas as Raghava, Kriti played Janaki, Sunny Singh played the role of Laxman, and Saif Ali Khan was seen as Lankesh. Post its release, certain dialogues in the film like ‘marega bete, ’bua ka bagicha hain kya' and 'jalegi tere baap ki' irked the audience and they thought it was an insult to the epic 'Ramayana'.
After facing severe backlash, the makers revamped the dialogues. The All India Cine Workers Association wrote a letter to Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Mumbai Police, where they demanded registration of a case against the producer, director, and writer of 'Adipurush'.
