'Animal’ Box Office Collection Day 13: Ranbir Kapoor’s Most-Successful Film Mints Rs 755.6 Crore Globally

Ranbir Kapoor’s most successful movie, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, has already crossed Rs 755.6 crore in theatres worldwide.

Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga's recent Bollywood project, 'Animal,' featuring Ranbir Kapoor alongside Rashmika Mandana, Anil Kapoor, and Bobby Deol, has made a significant impact at the Box Office. Within its first week, the film garnered an impressive ₹337.58 crore nett in India, with substantial contributions from various regional markets such as Telugu and Tamil cinemas. However, the major portion of this success stemmed from the Hindi version.

'Animal' had a clash with Vicky Kaushal's 'Sam Bahadur' in theatres in multiple languages on December 1, with the former emerging as frontrunner.

The film's storyline has clearly struck a chord with audiences, which is evident from its consistent earnings on weekdays. As it approaches the end of its second week, 'Animal' witnessed a slight decline in collections on December 13, yet it managed to maintain double-digit earnings. According to trade reports, the movie is expected to regain momentum over the upcoming weekend.

In its 13-day run, 'Animal' has amassed an impressive domestic Box Office collection of ₹467.84 crore, with a total gross domestic collection reaching ₹545.6 crore. Overseas, it has garnered ₹210 crore, gathering a staggering total gross Box Office collection of ₹755.6 crore by Day 13.

Aside from its tremendous success when it comes to Box Office collection, 'Animal' has made headlines for criticism for its portrayal of toxic masculinity and the glorification of misogyny.
