The film is among the highest grossers of the year, after ‘Jawan’, ‘Pathaan’ and ‘Gadar 2’. After its first week collection, the film is ahead of ‘Gadar 2’, which earned Rs 284.63 crore. ‘Animal’ is now entering its second weekend and until the release of Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Dunki’ and Prabhas’ ‘Salaar’, the film can enjoy a smooth box office run without any competition in sight. ‘

Well, it cannot go unnoticed that Ranbir Kapoor hasn’t had such a huge hit since the 2018 film ‘Sanju’. After that, he starred in ‘Shamshera’, ‘Brahmastra’ and ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’.

‘Animal’ hit the silver screens on December 1 alongside Vicky Kaushal-starrer ‘Sam Bahadur’, which has only managed to make Rs 38.83 crore as of now. Apart from Ranbir, it also stars Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Shakti Kapoor and Triptii Dimri.
