'Jawan' Box Office: Shah Rukh Khan Starrer Crosses Rs 1000 Crore Mark Globally On Day 18

Shah Rukh Khan starrer 'Jawan' has crossed Rs 1000 crore mark globally on day 18. It is directed by Atlee.

Shah Rukh Khan starrer 'Jawan' is showing no signs of slowing down at the box office. The movie released in theatres on September 7 worldwide. The actioner is still running successfully at theatres and has crossed Rs 1000 crore mark globally on its 18th day of release. With this, Shah Rukh becomes the first Indian actor with two films in the Rs 1000 crore club in a single year. His last film 'Pathaan' also crossed the Rs 1000 mark worldwide. In India, the total collection stands at Rs 563.83 crore. 

As per  report in Sacnilk.com, 'Jawan' earned Rs 15 crore on day 18 in India net for all languages. So, the total domestic collection stands at Rs 560.83 crore. It had a 33.64 percent Hindi occupancy on Sunday. It also performed well in Tamil-speaking regions with a 46.92 percent Tamil occupancy on Sunday and a 24.86 percent Telugu occupancy.

Ramesh Bala wrote on X platform (formerly known as Twitter), ''@iamsrk will become the first Indian movie star to have two entries in the 1,000 Crs Club! He has achieved that remarkable feat in the same calendar year – 2023. A feat that will remain in record books for a long time.”

'Jawan' is Shah Rukh Khan's first pan-India film. Helmed by Atlee, it also stars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in lead roles. Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt are seen in cameo appearances. Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, and Ridhi Dogra among others have pivotal roles.
