Domestically, the film entered the coveted Rs 500 crore club on Thursday after minting Rs 3.50 crore on Wednesday. Its total at the domestic box office now stands at an impressive Rs 502.35 crore (all India estimate). 'Pathaan' is breaking records not just in India, but also at the global box office. ‘Pathaan’ is said to cross the Rs 970 crore mark by its 22nd day of release, and will soon make it to the coveted Rs 1000 crore club.
Moving ahead, ‘Pathaan’ will now face competition in the form of MCU’s ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumani’ and Kartik Aaryan’s ‘Shehzada’. 'Pathaan' crosses Rs 700 crore worldwide in 9 days
The film has been directed by Siddharth Anand of 'War' fame. With this, all films of the YRF's Spy Universe - 'Ek Tha Tiger', 'Tiger Zinda Hai', 'War' and 'Pathaan' - are now bonafide blockbusters. 'Pathaan', which also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, has been produced by Aditya Chopra's Yash Raj Films.
Coming to SRK, the actor after witnessing his recent release’s groundbreaking success, is looking forward to the release of Atlee’s ‘Jawan’ and Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘Dunki’. Both will be released this year.
