Adarsh Gourav, known for his successful performances, is not one to rest on his laurels. While he is currently focused on making a name for himself in acting, Adarsh is also looking to diversify and step into filmmaking and emphasizing that he will never give up on acting.

During a conversation with Hindustan Times, Gourav exclaimed that, "I am quite serious about filmmaking and direction. In fact, when I was much younger, I believed that the roots of being an actor lies in the fact of storytelling. When I was young, I would love telling stories, out the blues to entertain my friends and entertain my family. And I would be so amazed when people would get convinced with those stories."

The 'Kho Gaye Hum Khan' actor further went on to say, "Now, hopefully, in the next two or three years, I want to make my first feature as a director. I have written a few stories, and I just need to find a good collaborator to help me develop a screenplay. Then all I would need is to find the right producer. I don’t know what else to tell you at this point in time. It’s at a very nascent stage, but I’m really excited to direct films in life."

Over his career, which spans more than a decade, having made his debut with 'My Name is Khan,' Adarsh Gourav has showcased versatility in his filmography, featuring notable works such as 'The White Tiger,' 'Extrapolations,' 'Guns & Gulaabs,' 'Hostel Daze' as well as 'Kho Gaye Hum Kahan.'

When discussing the possibility of leaving acting once he sits in the director's chair, the BAFTA-nominated actor said that he wants to pursue both acting and directing, because he finds himself relating to both aspects. He believes that he can handle them simultaneously. He further stated that he would like direct himself someday. He added, "I feel both things will definitely go with each other, and that is what I intend to do."

Work wise, he will next be seen in the upcoming science fiction horror television series 'Alien' in a pivotal role, directed by Noah Hawley.
