Legendary musician Justin Timberlake is back in the game! The pop singer is staging a comeback with his new album, 'Everything I Thought It Was,' marking his first release since 'Man of the Woods,' which was released back in 2018.

Now the 'Mirrors' crooner has dropped the fresh, lead single from the album, 'Selfish,' which is accompanied by a music video directed by Bradley J. Calder and choreographed by Marty Kudelka and Dana Wilson. The mid-tempo romantic ballad is mixed with R&B beats, which is iconic of Timberlake's earlier works.

The announcement of JT's newest track was actually revealed last week in a free concert in his hometown of Memphis, Tennessee.

The music video features the singer showing off his smooth dance moves in its pinnacle. Co-written by Timberlake himself along with Louis Bell, Cirkut, Theron Thomas, and Amy Allen, 'Selfish' is co-produced by Justin, Bell, and Cirkut.

Back in April 2023, record producer Timbaland had revealed to Variety that he and Timberlake had been working on new material, gearing up for the artist's first release since 2018's 'Man of the Woods.' He said, "We just finished up and everything sounds great," adding, "Now it's really on him how and when he envisions it to come out, but it's done and it's coming."

The upcoming album 'Everything I Thought It Was' will be the singer's sixth studio album. The album is scheduled for a release on March 15 via RCA.

Last year, prior to 'Selfish,' Timberlake teamed up with Timbaland and Nelly Furtado for their second collaboration on the song 'Keep Going Up.' He also featured on Jung Kook's solo track '3D.'
