Alia Bhatt On How Her Priorities Have Changed After A Decade In The Industry: Now I Have A Daughter

Alia Bhatt is one of the most sought-after actresses of B-town. At an early age, she has donned multiple hats. Today, she is not just a fine actress or a successful entrepreneur, but also a doting mother. Alia who is married to Ranbir Kapoor welcomed Raha, their daughter last year in November. We all know after being a mother, priorities change and the 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' actress now wants to strike a balance between her work and family life. In an interview, Bhatt said that she now doesn't want to sacrifice family time due to her work. 

She told Femina that as she has crossed a decade in cinema, her life has also changed a lot. She also revealed that there was a time when she was willing to make sacrifices of "all kinds – of sleep and time with my family – and just continuously work and shoot". But now she has a family-a daughter and a husband. "I also feel like all these 10 years, this time I did not spend with my parents, with my sister, with my friends – I want to be able to do that," added Alia.

Alia further said, "And, of course, never give up working, but try and bring about some balance. So, yes, that is the decision that I've consciously taken and it includes being present. I feel like, very often, we might not be working, but we're on the phone talking, figuring things out, you know, doing some random things. So, I also just find lots of balance by not looking at my phone if I have nothing to do. I try to do it. Sometimes I fail miserably, sometimes, I succeed".

On the professional front, Alia will be seen in Karan Johar's 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' also starring Ranveer Singh opposite her. She is also making her big Hollywood debut with 'Heart Of Stone' with Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan.
