Anupama Solanki: I Believe ‘Bigg Boss’ Helps The Audience In Understanding The Celebrities Better

There is much talk about the ‘Bigg Boss 17’ going on. Anupama Solanki enjoys the show too and has been an avid follower of this reality television show. While the actor is excited to watch the reality show, she is unable to follow it much as her shoot is keeping her busy. This is a common issue that many celebs face as they’re busy with their own shoots and then they’re not able to get the necessary time to devote to Salman Khan’s ‘Bigg Boss 17’. However, when spoken about the show and what she likes about it, she candidly reveals that a show like ‘Bigg Boss’ highlights the unseen side of everyone in the house.

“I believe this show helps the audience in understanding the celebrities better. Like many times, winners of the show are not well-deserved but still they create a buzz around them so that they get the trophy. This is injustice with other participants,” she says.

Being Friends With Abhishek Kumar

One of Anupama Solanki’s old friends from Chandigarh, Abhishek Kumar, is in this season. He has been one of the strongest contestants of the show and he has been getting some great TRPs for the show. Talking about Abhishek Kumar, Anupama Solanki says, “We used to do theatre together in Chandigarh and I think we almost came the same year in Mumbai. Right now, I am extremely busy with my Dangal TV show and not getting time to watch it regularly. But whenever I get time, I watch the show. After Bigg Boss 13, I was not following Bigg Boss but because of Abhishek Kumar I tried to watch as much as possible. I am happy he is a part of the show and doing well.”

Anupama Solanki In ‘Bigg Boss’?

Just like many others in the film and television industry, has she also ever been approached for being a part of ‘Bigg Boss’? Will she do it if offered? “Yes of course I love to do ‘Bigg Boss’ but personally, I don’t like fighting, I am a very emotional and soft-hearted person otherwise I love ‘Bigg Boss’. Reason to join ‘Bigg Boss’ will be fast fame. You can become a star overnight. People don’t get fame till death but once you enter in this show you will become famous.”

“Apart from that I am a big fan of Salman Khan sir. Every week you will see him face to face and get a chance to talk with him. What else do you need? Salman Khan is bigger than any trophy. Today people watch Bigg Boss because of Salman Khan, otherwise lots of hosts come and go. He suits the show best. Nobody is better than him for ‘Bigg Boss’. Salman sir is very smart, intelligent and understands politics very well,” says Anupama Solanki.

It's true that Salman Khan is the face of ‘Bigg Boss’ and it would be impossible to imagine a season with anyone else as the host. However, before Salman Khan, there were many others like Arshad Warsi, Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt and many others who hosted the show.
