“Social media influencers deserve to earn more money than TV actors. Sometimes I feel inspired by them because they do a lot of hard work. After TikTok was banned in India, anyone could have easily given up. I remember when TikTok was banned in India. I thought the TikTokers were finished, but they bounced back. It's so inspiring,” she says.
Most of the actors are often heard saying I am here to be an actor in the entertainment industry and not an influencer. She says this is true because actors cannot be influencers. “Actors cannot be influencers because it is very difficult to make reels or any kind of video or influence people. In my opinion, actors should also be influencers because if you cannot be an influencer + actor, you will not survive for long. I mean, the competition is too high these days. The number of followers of influencers is equal to that of Shah Rukh Khan or Salman Khan. The way they are rising, they may soon earn as much as a superstar,” she says.
She adds, “It is true that YouTubers and influencers are making money very quickly, but I have noticed that many of the products they are promoting are not good, and this may have a negative impact in the future. Honestly speaking, I don't trust any product when I see an influencer promoting it because most of the projects are new and it is difficult to believe them.”
She adds, “It is not about money. Everyone wants money. Whether you are a crorepati or a roadpati, everyone wants to earn more money. It may seem easy to say, ‘Wow, they are making money,’ but it is not everyone's cup of tea. You need a lot of hard work and patience to make money.”
