Bhupinder Singh Arrested For Killing Neighbour After An Argument Over Cutting Eucalyptus Tree

Popular TV actor Bhupinder Singh has ended up killing his neighbour and injuring three others after he had an argument with them over the cutting of some eucalyptus trees. He has been arrested.

This is one of the most bizarre cases of fights with your neighbour that you can think of. A famous TV actor, Bhupinder Singh, has been arrested by the Bijnor police in Uttar Pradesh. The reason – he allegedly opened fire at his neighbour which eventually resulted in killing one person and injuring three people. You may ask what the cause of this sudden rage was. Well, it stemmed from an argument over cutting eucalyptus trees.

Bhupinder Singh is quite popular for playing parts in shows like ‘Madhubala’, ‘Yeh Pyaar Na Hoga Kam’ and many others. Reports suggest that his hometown is Bijnor where he was setting up a fence near his farm. The plot right beside Bhupinder Singh’s was an agricultural land, and that belonged to Gurdeep Singh. So, while setting up the fence, Bhupinder Singh decided to get some eucalyptus trees cut.

Soon enough there was a massive argument over whether or not the trees could be cut. It escalated into a major fight which resulted in Bhupinder Singh and 3 of his close people attacking Gurdeep Singh and his family members. It was during this clash that out of nowhere Bhupinder Singh opened fire from his licensed revolver. The shots fired ended up killing Gurdeep Singh’s 22-year-old son Govind. It also injured him, his other son Amrik, and his wife Beero Bai. All the 3 are currently getting treated for their wounds.

As per an NDTV report, Bhupinder Singh has now been arrested by the police. He has been put under the charges of murder, attempt to murder and voluntarily causing hurt to others. Despite being a licensed weapon, he has been charged under the Arms Act as well. Among the close ones of Bhupinder Singh, 3 were arrested, namely Gyan Singh, Jeevan Singh and Gurjant Singh.
