Include sprouts and milk in your daily diet. Consume a variety of foods, but avoid overeating; aim to keep your stomach at around 50% to 60% full. For example, if you usually eat three chapatis, limit yourself to two. Additionally, commit to daily exercise for 30 to 60 minutes, engaging in activities you enjoy to prioritise your physical well-being.

In my diet, I prioritise green vegetables and citrus fruits because I believe that vitamin C is essential for the body, and vegetables like carrots are beneficial for gut health. Each body type has unique nutritional needs, so it's important to pay attention to what your body is telling you; it communicates its requirements.

I recommend incorporating at least one locally-grown fruit and one locally sourced vegetable into your daily diet. This practice can significantly contribute to fulfilling your essential vitamin, mineral, and fiber needs. However, it's important to note that this alone may not suffice. To ensure a well-rounded diet, it's crucial to include protein-rich natural sources like pulses and incorporate complex carbohydrates such as mixed grains and rice in moderate amounts.

Every day, I make sure to include soaked almonds and fresh fruit in my diet. I firmly believe in the benefits of consuming fresh and raw fruits and vegetables, and they form a significant portion of my meals. In the Indian subcontinent, we are fortunate to have access to some of the most nutritious millets, and I adapt my choices based on the seasons. It's worth noting that our culture has long embraced gluten-free options like jowar, bajra, and amaranth, which the world discovered much later. I emphasize the importance of consuming seasonal fruits and ensuring a clean and joyful eating environment. Believe me, your mood can significantly impact your nutritional experience.

When I'm on a shoot, I always ensure that I carry two nutrition bars with me so when I crave to eat something in between, I have those. These bars are a must-have for me, and I never skip them. Also, I carry my own tiffin, lovingly prepared by my mother, and it's packed with all the essential nutrients I need. Homemade food is a source of ample nutrition.
