Singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh took to his Instagram account to apologize to all those who were looking forward to the release of his new film 'Jodi Teri Meri' has been postponed. The film was supposed to hit the theaters on May 5 but now the release date has been postponed.
Diljit wrote on Instagram, “Film di Sari Team Ne Baut Hardwork Kita.. Apna 100% Dita Sareya Ne.. Par Kisey Kaarn Eh Film Aj India ch Release Nhi Ho Rahi..Jo Jodi Da Intzaar Kar rahe c Ona Ton Maafi.. Sareya Nu Pyar Te Satkaar (The whole team of the film did a lot of hard work. They gave it their 100%. I apologise to those who were waiting for the film. Love and respect to all)”.
The Punjabi film Jodi is produced by Amberdeep Singh with Diljit Dosanjh. It also stars Nimrat Khaira in the lead role. The film is a biopic on the life of slain Punjabi singer Amar Singh Chamkila and his second wife Amarjot Kaur.
