Hema Malini has now finally reacted to the viral kiss between her husband Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi in Karan Johar's 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani'.
Actor Dharmendra was recently seen in Karan Johar's 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani'. Though he had a few scenes in the film but a particular scene created a stir on social media. Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi shared a liplock in 'RRKPK'. Later, both Dharmendra and Shabana opened up on the kissing scene. Now, Hema Malini has reacted to it at an event.
The Dream Girl of Bollywood was in New Delhi for the launch event of a book. As per Times Now, when Hema was asked about the 'kiss', she laughed and said, “I have not seen it'' and added, “I am sure people have loved the film. I am so happy for Dharam ji, because he loves to be in front of the camera all the time. He loves it.”
At the success meet of Alia Bhatt-Ranveer Singh starrer, Dharmendra on the kissing scene said, “Unfortunately, I couldn’t attend the premiere, but I’ve received a lot of messages from people. Maine bola, ‘Yaar, yeh toh mere daaye haath ka kaam hai (I can do this in my sleep).” He added, “Baaye haath se karwana hai, woh bhi karwa lo (I can do it effortlessly).”
Karan also recently opened up about it to Film Companion as he said, “Shabana ji is a trooper. She is a master actor, she is a ‘baap’ actor as they say. There was no debate, no question (about the kiss scene). Dharam ji was like, ‘haan theek hai karna hai, fine’. (It was) two great veterans, performing with absolute aplomb, no questions asked. It was glorious to see them.”
'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' released in theatres on July 28 and it has got positive response from critics and audiences alike. Also, it is performing well at the box office.
