Naga Chaitanya, Akhil Akkineni and their father, Nagarjuna, haven't seen success in the recent past and most of their films failed to impress the audience. Some of their films did not even do profitable business at the box office.
At the press conference of his upcoming film, ‘Custody’, Naga Chaitanya discussed how the Akkineni family deals with flops. The ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ actor mentioned how he feels this phase will pass soon and that they want to fulfill their fans' expectations.
Speaking at an event, Naga Chaitanya said, "We always want to make a successful film. We are grateful for the unconditional love and support of our fans. Last few releases haven't worked out. Highs and lows in a career are quite normal and we travel through the highs and lows. This phase will pass soon and we will be back for sure. I am quite confident in Custody. I am hoping we will give what our fans need."
Previously, Akhil Akkineni's ‘Agent’ and Nagarjuna's ‘The Ghost’ did not perform well at the box office and received lukewarm responses.
