Kabir Khan In Discussion With Tiger Shroff For His Next Action Film? Here’s What We Know So Far

Kabir Khan is reportedly in active discussion with actor Tiger Shroff for his next film.

After making his feature film directorial debut in 2006 with the adventure thriller ‘Kabul Express’, Kabir Khan went on to helm ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ (2012), ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ (2015) and ‘’83’ (2021). He is now looking forward to ‘Chandu Champion’, a sports drama film that stars Kartik Aaryan in the lead.

Now as per a recent report in Hindustan Times, the filmmaker is in talks with Tiger Shroff now for his next project, which would be an action-based film. According to industry insiders, the filmmaker is in talks with the actor for an action-based project. “Kabir wants to cast Tiger Shroff in his next project, and is in active discussions with him. He thinks it is an apt project for them to get together. While not much is known about the storyline, it is an action project set in Northeast,” HT quoted a source as saying. 

The insider further added, “The role that he has in mind for Tiger fits perfectly with his present image, while adding a distinctive touch to it all. At the moment, discussions are on, and Tiger is yet to sign the dotted line”.

For the project with Tiger, Khan is reuniting with V. Vijayendra Prasad, with whom he has previously worked on ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’. The source further disclosed, “Kabir is really excited and happy to work with Prasad on this project, and believes they have something special planned. Their pairing turned out to be successful last time with Bajrangi Bhaijaan, and are sure that they will create the same magic this time too.”

Both Khan and Shroff are yet to respond to the rumours. 

Meanwhile, there is also speculation that Kabir might collaborate with actor Salman Khan yet again, with whom worked with in ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ and ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’. As per reports, the two are expected to work on a script titled ‘Babbar Sher’. On the work front, Kabir Khan’s ‘Chandu Champion’, is scheduled for a release in June this year.
