'We Were Already...': Kareena Kapoor Khan Opens Up On Filming Intimate Scenes With Saif Ali Khan In 'Kurbaan'

Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan are one of the hottest couples off and on screens. They dated for several years before tying the knot in 2012. In 2009, Saif and Kareena starred together in 'Kurbaan'. Their chemistry was very much loved by the audience. In a recent interview, the actress opened up about the intimate scenes with Saif in the film.

Kareena recently appeared in Netflix India Actors Roundtable with other actors like Kajol, Amruta Subhash, Tillotama Shome, Sanya Malhotra and Sidharth Malhotra. At the roundtable when Sidharth asked Kareena about her sex scene with Saif Ali Khan in Rensil D'Silva's film, she laughed and said, “But we were already dating. We were auditioning. So that worked out well.” Kajol jokingly said it was a  “private audition” them. 

For the unversed, Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan lived together for five years before getting married. In an interview, she revealed that they got married because they wanted to have children.

Bebo told Dirty Magazine, “The reason you get married now is that you want to have a child, right? I mean today otherwise, you can just live together. [Saif and I] lived together for five years, so when we took the next step, it was because we wanted to have children.” 

Kareena and Saif started dating in 2007 while they were shooting for Vijay Krishna Acharya's 'Tashan'. Apart from 'Kurbaan' and 'Tashan', they also worked together in Kabir Khan's 'Agent Vinod'. 

The couple welcomed their first son, Taimur Ali Khan, in 2016 and their second son, Jehangir Ali Khan aka Jeh in 2021.

Workwise, Kareena made her digital debut with Netflix's 'Jaane Jaan'.  She has 'The Buckingham Murders', 'The Crew' and 'Singham Again' in her kitty. Saif will be seen in 'Devara'.
