Aditya Roy Kapur said that he is very 'joyous' right now, and called Ananya 'pure joy'.
Karan Johar recently got Aditya Roy Kapur and Arjun Kapoor together on his couch for the latest episode of ‘Koffee with Karan 8’. Though he didn’t reveal major details, Aditya certainly blushed when asked about his rumoured relationship with Ananya Panday. While he didn’t confirm the rumour, Aditya did praise Ananya.
On the show, Karan asked him, “Rumour has it that you are dating Ananya Panday?” To which, Aditya said, “Karan, you said on your show, ‘Ask me no secrets and I’ll tell you no lies’. I remember this.” Karan further told Aditya that Ananya said on his show that she was feeling “very Ananya Coy Kapur.” Hearing this, Aditya quipped, “And I am Aditya Joy Kapur as of now.” Karan soon mentioned to him, “You mean you’re joyously in a situationship?” Aditya replied, “I’m quite joyous.” He further referred to Ananya as ‘bliss’ and ‘pure joy.’
For those caught unaware, a situationship is referred to an undefined romantic relationship between two people.
During Aditya’s rapid fire round, Karan asked him, “What would you do if you were stuck in a lift with Shraddha Kapoor and Ananya Panday.” However, before Aditya could reply, Arjun chimed in and said, “Aashiqui toh karta, par kisse woh pata nahi.” When Aditya amusingly looked at Arjun, the latter said, “I am joking” in Chunky Panday’s famous ‘Aakhri Pasta’ style.
Finally, when Aditya won the hamper for the rapid fire round, Arjun jumped in to say, “There could be some Aakhri Pasta inside.” Replying to this, Aditya mentioned, “Maybe, let’s see.” Arjun then bafflingly looked at Karan and said, “He doesn’t even know that.”
Karan jokingly added, “You will have Aakhri pasta with Ananya after she sees this episode because you have not done adequate research on her daddy dearest.” Karan and Arjun then teased Aditya for not knowing much about his rumoured girlfriend’s dad. Karan further asked him he had seen Chunky’s film ‘Aag He Aag’, Aditya said, “Sorry.”
Meanwhile, Ananya and Aditya are said to be dating for a while now, and are often seen together at airports and events.
