Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal arre set to star in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Love & War.' The film will release on Christmas 2025.
It has been speculated for a long time that director Sanjay Leela Bhansali is working on his next directorial with Alia Bhatt. The speculation was put to rest today. The news of Bhansali’s next film has been announced. Titled ‘Love & War’, the film will star Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal in lead roles.
Vicky Kaushal and Alia Bhatt took to their Instagram to share the announcement. They shared a tentative poster of the film. The poster read, "We bring you Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s epic saga ‘Love & War.’ See you at the movies, Christmas 2025.” The poster had the names of Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal. The three actors had also signed above their names.
Alia Bhatt shared the poster with a red heart emoji. Vicky Kaushal shared the announcement and wrote, “An eternal cinema dream has come true.”

‘Love & War’ will mark the second time Sanjay Leela Bhansali will be directing Ranbir Kapoor. They had worked in Ranbir Kapoor’s debut film – ‘Saawariya’. This will also mark the director’s second collaboration with Alia Bhatt after ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi.’ Pinkvilla quoted a source related to the film saying, “It's a great story that got all three stalwarts excited. It's a casting coup pulled off by SLB in such a short span, and that's purely based on the power of his screenplay."
