From ‘Good Grief’, a heartfelt drama about loss and self-discovery to a live-action adaptation of Harlan Coben’s ‘Fool Me Once’, there’s everything for everyone in the week ahead. ‘Fool Me Once’ (January 1)
The gripping eight-part limited series is based on Harlan Coben’s novel of the same name. It follows the story of Maya Stern (Michelle Keegan), and how she reels from her brutal murder of her husband, Joe. However, her world turns upside down when she spots her supposedly deceased spouse on a nanny-cam. Next, when Maya’s niece and nephew start to investigate their mother’s murder, it hints at a possible connection between the two cases, leading to secrets being unravelled.

‘Delicious in Dungeon’ (January 4)
An anime by Studio Trigger, ‘Delicious in Dungeon’ is a blend of high-fantasy adventure with culinary creativity. It centres on Laios and his team, who, after an encounter with a dragon in a dungeon, lose their supplies, and are faced with starvation. Laios decides to cook and eat the monsters they encounter. The survival strategy leads them on an unusual journey.

‘Society of the Snow’ (January 4)
This survival thriller recounts the true ordeal faced by the survivors of the Uruguayan plane crash in 1972, which was stranded in the isolated expanse of the Andes Mountains. The narrative showcases the efforts taken by the survivors to stay alive in a place amid cold and scarce resources. The film is Spain’s official entry into the 2024 Oscars.
‘The Brothers Sun’ (January 4)
A black comedy action series based on two estranged Taiwanese brothers, it is about Charles (Justin Chien) and Bruce (Sam Li) Sun. It starts when their father, the head of a powerful Taiwanese triad, is killed by a mysterious assassin. Charles, a legendary killer in Taipei, then heads to Los Angeles to protect his mother (Michelle Yeoh) and younger brother.

‘Foe’ (January 5)
This science fiction psychological thriller, directed by Garth Davis, is centred around a married couple whose existence is altered by the arrival of a stranger, who informs that the husband is to be dispatched to a significant space station, thereby leaving his wife in the company of a robot. It stars Saoirse Ronan, Paul Mescal and Aaron Pierre in pivotal roles.

‘Good Grief’ (January 5)
This drama is based on the life of Marc, portrayed by Daniel Levy, and how he navigates everything after the sudden demise of his exuberant husband, Oliver. He, along with his closest friends Sophie and Thomas, then undertakes a transformative journey of self-discovery in Paris.

‘Solo Leveling’ (January 6)
This upcoming South Korean anime is based on the eponymous web novel and webtoon series. It is about Sung Jinwoo, initially a weak hunter with supernatural abilities, but his life dramatically changes after he narrowly survives a dangerous dungeon and is picked by a mysterious program called the System.

‘Hi Nanna’ (January 4)
Viraj (Nani), a professional photographer, is a single parent and takes care of his 6-year-old daughter Mahi (Kiara Khanna). However, whenever Viraj reads Mahi a bedtime story, she is curious to know more about her mother. When Varsha (Mrunal Thakur) saves Mahi from a road accident, she sneaks out of her house, and then Viraj has no choice than to tell the kid her mother’s story. Soon, Varsha begins to fall for Viraj and Mahi sees her longing for her mother in Varsha.
