Parineeti Chopra replied to sister Priyanka Chopra's post on her engagement with Raghav Chadha.
On Saturday, Parineeti Chopra announced her engagement to AAP member Raghav Chadha. The two got engaged in Delhi and the event was attended by close family and friends. Her cousin and actress Priyanka Chopra too flew down to be with Parineeti on her big day, and even congratulated the couple on social media.
Now Parineeti replied to her sister’s post, and asked her to prepare for the big responsibilities coming her way. “Mimi Didii – bridesmaid’s duties coming upppp!” Parineeti wrote in her reply to Priyanka’s post. The ‘Citadel’ actor, while sharing the newly engaged couple’s photos, meanwhile wrote, “Congratulations Tisha and Raghav.. Cannot wait for the wedding! So happy for both of you and the families. so fun to catch up with the fam!”
For the engagement, Parineeti looked stunning in a pearls and embroidery detailed salwar suit by Manish Malhotra. Raghav, on the other hand, was seen in a white sherwani, designed by his uncle Pawan Sachdeva. While sharing a photo of the couple, Malhotra wrote, “Congratulations @parineetichopra and @raghavchadha88 lots of love to you’ll on your engagement classic elegance and an evening of love and Parineeti my dear gorgeous in the custom made IvoryBlush pearl ensemble.”
Parineeti and Raghav too announced the news to the world. “Everything I prayed for .. She said yes!,” he wrote in the caption. A day later, they also thanked everyone for the love, as Parineeti shared a note, “Raghav and I are overwhelmed with the love and abundance of positivity we have received over the past few weeks, particularly on our engagement. We both come from different worlds, and it is amazing to know that our worlds also unite with our union. We have gained a bigger family than we could have ever imagined. We are so touched by everything we have read/seen and we cannot thank you all enough. We embark on this journey knowing that you all are standing with us. A special shout-out to our amazing friends in the media. Thank you for being there throughout the day and cheering for us,” they wrote.
