Prachi Desai talked about her experience of working with Manoj Bajpayee. The actor made her OTT debut in 'Dhootha' alongside Naga Chaitanya recently.
Prachi Desai recently made her OTT debut in the Amazon Prime Video web series, ‘Dhootha.’ In a recent interview, she talked about her journey from television to films, and now to OTT. She talked about her experience of working with Manoj Bajpayee and called him a “living legend.”
In a conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Prachi Desai opened up about working with Manoj Bajpayee in ‘Silence... Can You Hear It?’ She played the role of an inspector in the film. The actor praised Bajpayee’s work ethic and dedication to his craft. She said, “With Manoj sir, it's never-ending learning because being somebody with that kind of experience in his life, and one of the most the finest and refined actors of this new age, who is going to be remembered forever… he’s like a living legend. Watching him work at this stage, after all of the success and acclaim, it's amazing to see that he has this spirit of not giving up.”
Adding on to this, Desai also mentioned how Manoj Bajpayee is focused on the set. She added that he makes it a “collaborative effort.” Seeing him dedicated she talked about how it influenced her to “approach (your) work and life, through those kinds of standards and ethics.”
In the same conversation, she also talked about her experience of working with Naga Chaitanya. She revealed how it was difficult to work for her in Telugu, but the actor supported her by giving cues in English. He also helped her feel comfortable on set. ‘Dhootha’ is a neo-noir crime thriller that has been created and directed by Vikram Kumar.
Following the success of this film, the actor will be collaborating on the sequel of ‘Silence’ with Bajpayee again.
