Pranitaa Pandit Met K-Pop Artist Aoora; Says, ‘K-Pop And K-Dramas Are Ruling In India’

Pranitaa Pandit recently settled back in Mumbai after spending a couple of years in Goa. Pranitaa, known for her work in shows like ‘Kavach’, ‘Jamai Raja’, ‘Uttaran’, and ‘Kasauti Zindagi Ki’, had the opportunity to meet the K-pop sensation Aoora in Mumbai, and she can’t stop talking about it.

Sharing her experience of meeting the popular singer, Pranitaa says, “My good friend Rachna Puri works with many K-pop/K-drama artists in India, and recently, I had the chance to meet the K-pop singer Aoora in Mumbai. He is such a sweet person to talk to. Although language was a significant barrier for us, we could still connect. We even went to Marine Drive, where Aoora sang ‘Yeh Sham Mastani’ in front of a live audience. He was fantastic with his singing style. The day I spent with him was quite surreal. I also managed to take a few beautiful pictures with him, and I will cherish this memory forever. I’m someone who can connect with K-dramas and K-pop music because I follow them quite a bit. The popularity of K-dramas is tremendous in India, and if I ever get an opportunity, I will surely explore that avenue. K-pop and K-dramas are taking India by storm, and I believe the craze will only continue to grow.”

Pranitaa Pandit has been a part of the television industry since 2007 and made her debut in the serial ‘Kasturi’ in the same year. During her time in Goa, she also ventured into the hospitality industry along with her husband. Let’s wait and watch what she is going to come up with next now that she is back in Mumbai.
