Joining the list of recent celebrity weddings, actor Rakul Preet Singh and her producer boyfriend Jackky Bhagnani are reportedly all set to take the plunge and get married in February. Now as per a report in Hindustan Times, the couple’s wedding would be a two day affair, with both Jackky and Rakul thinking of ways to protect their privacy.
It is believed that the couple will be getting married on February 22, in Goa. In fact, they have just returned from a vacation and are all set to dive into the prep for the wedding festivities. Before their wedding preparation, the couple had headed to Thailand for the time off.
As per the report, which quoted a source as saying, the couple wants to keep their wedding really intimate, with only their close friends from the industry to be in attendance.
“The wedding will mostly be a two affair in Goa. The intention is to keep it intimate but also not miss out on making memories with family and friends. That’s why close friends from both the industries, considering Rakul has also worked in the south film industry, will be attending the wedding along with family members,” the report quoted the insider.
The source added, “They are very private people, which is why they are thinking of ways they can introduce to protect their privacy. For instance, they are planning to go for a no phone policy for the guests”.
As for the theme and decor, the couple are closely looking over it. “One thing is certain that it will be close to who they are as individuals, with everything reflecting their personality,” the report added.
For the unversed, it was in October 2021 that the couple made it official through a post on Instagram. On the actress’s birthday, Jackky had shared a romantic photo while holding hands. The caption of the post was, “With you, days don't seem like days. Without you, eating the most delicious food is no fun”. Unlike most couples, both of them often share candid moments with each other and openly talk about their relationship as well.
