Ranbir Kapoor Reduces His Fees For 'Animal' By 50%: Report

Ranbir Kapoor has reportedly reduced his fees voluntarily for 'Animal' after the budget went significantly high due to post-production work and delays.

Ranbir Kapoor will be seen in 'Animal' that is releasing in theatres on December 1. The teaser released recently on the occasion of the actor's birthday on September 28. It has got overwhelming responses. Directed by 'Kabir Singh' fame director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the movie also stars Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Rashmika Mandanna.

As per a report in Pinkvilla, Ranbir has reduced his fees voluntarily for 'Animal' after the budget went significantly high due to post-production work and delays.

The report stated that Ranbir's market value is around Rs. 70 crore per film. Due to the inflated budget, the actor will now charge Rs. 30 - 35 crore for 'Animal'. The amount that has been reduced for his fees will be used to improve the production value of the film. Reportedly, Ranbir shall have a profit share if Animal makes the desired collection at the box office.

Talking about the 'Animal' teaser, it is about a father-son relationship. Anil Kapoor is playing Ranbir's on-screen father. The teaser begins with an interaction between Ranbir and Rashmika who have apparently met for their marriage. When Rashmika's character talks about Ranbir's character's father, his tone of talking changes. Then we get a glimpse of the not-so-good relationship of father-son. The teaser shows how Rabir transforms from an innocent young boy to a rebel. 

The thriller drama is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar’s T-Series, Murad Khetani’s Cine1 Studios, and Pranay Reddy Vanga’s Bhadrakali Pictures, and also stars Triptii Dimri. 'Animal' is releasing in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
