Raveena Tandon said that she has told everything about her past relationships to her children and her life is like an open book for them.
Everyone has a past so do the celebs. Actress Raveena Tandon also had a past and earlier, nasty things were written about her relationships in various tabloids and magazines. She was in a relationship with Akshay Kumar in the 90s. But both had to part ways. In 2004, Raveena got married to Anil Thadani and the couple has two kids- a daughter and a son. In 1995, Raveena adopted two girls, Pooja and Chaya. In an interview, the actress said that she never hid her past from her children.
Raveena told Lehren Retro that her life is like an open book for her children. ''If not today, tomorrow they will read about it somewhere and they might read something worse because you know how the ’90s press was. It was yellow journalism at its peak. They had no scruples, no morals, no integrity,’’ she added.
The ‘KGF’ actress also said that earlier film magazines wrote the “worst articles” about her. She said, “They sl*t shamed, they body shamed, they called you names. There were pet names given to everyone and the more scandalous the story, the worse they would write''. “I’ve been called so many things, ‘Amazonian’ and ‘thunder thighs’, ‘Ms Arrogant’, ‘Ms High and Mighty’, so many,'' added Raveena.
She also said that time has changed now due to social media as celebrities can control their narrative. The ‘Mohra’ actress further added, “Whose camp they were in or whom they were buttering up or which hero or heroine was buttering them up, they would only write about them, and their side of the story, without even waiting to find out what the truth was’’.
On the work front, Raveena will be seen in ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ that also has Akshay Kumar. She also has 'Ghudchadi' with Sanjay Dutt.
