Rohit Shetty, on social media, opened up about the various setbacks that he and his team had to bear in the past few weeks.
Filmmaker Rohit Shetty, who is known for his box-office successes with the ‘Golmaal’ and ‘Singham’ series, witnessed a rare failure with the Ranveer Singh film ‘Cirkus’. The film, despite featuring an ensemble cast, failed to impress the audience and tanked at the box office with a mere Rs 32.10 crore lifetime collection.
While Shetty and his team immediately jumped to shoot his debut web series, ‘Indian Police Force’, the ‘Singham’ director suffered an accident on the set of the show. Now finally, after facing several setbacks, the filmmaker has opened up on how his team has been coping with various setbacks in the last few weeks.
Sharing a photo, Shetty wrote on Instagram, “From Cirkus to my accident on set, my team and I have gone through a lot in the last few weeks! WE RISE, WE FALL, BUT WE RISE AGAIN NOT JUST TO FIGHT THE BATTLE, BUT TO WIN IT!!! Shooting the last schedule of INDIAN POLICE FORCE in HYDERABAD before we commence the pre-production of SINGHAM AGAIN.”
Sidharth Malhotra, who is the lead actor of ‘Indian Police Force’, wrote, “Come on.” Raveena Tandon too commented, “True that.”
Previously, Shetty had informed his followers that he got stitches on two fingers after the accident. “Another car toppled… but this time with stitches on 2 fingers…. Nothing to worry about, I am absolutely fine… Thank you so much for your love and concern… Shooting Indian Police force for Amazon Originals in Hyderabad,” he wrote on Instagram.
Meanwhile, after ‘Indian Police Force’, Shetty will begin work on the third ‘Singham’ film, which will have Ajay Devgn reprising his role as Bajirao Singham. The project will be the fifth movie in the filmmaker’s cop universe, including ‘Sooryavanshi’ and ‘Simmba’.
