Shweta Tripathi On Reuniting With Vijay Varma In 'Kaalkoot': He Is One Of My Favourite Co-Actors Who Brings Out My Best

Shweta Tripathi and Vijay Varma have reunited in 'Kaalkoot' after 'Mirzapur'. The actress called Vijay her 'favourite co-actor' and expressed her desire to work with him again and again.

Vijay Varma and Shweta Tripathi Sharma have yet again proved how talented they are with their terrific performances in 'Kaalkoot'. Vijay for the first time has played a good guy, a police inspector Ravi Shankar Tripathi who is assigned to solve a case of an acid attack survivor, Parul Chaturvedi. The show is directed by Sumit Saxena and has got an overwhelming response from critics and audiences alike. It is currently streaming on Jio Cinema. This is Vijay and Shweta's second outing together after the hit web show, 'Mirzapur'.

Ahead of the release of 'Kaalkoot', we spoke to Shweta and asked her about reuniting with Vijay. To which she said that he is ''one of her favourite co-actors'' and added, ''He is so fantastic and dedicated and I am fortunate that he is my co-actor because he brings out my best.''

Further adding, Shweta said, ''There was a small scene in the hospital where Vijay came and said, 'Accha scene padh lete hai'. He is so motivating and encouraging and no matter how many revisions I have to do, I know that I can blindly trust Vijay Varma. I know he will make my performance better which is why I would want to work with him again because when I work with him as Golu and Shatrughan it's a different equation. And as Ravi and Parul it's a different equation.''

Vijay shared that both share great comfort with each other. ''We started around the same time and we sometimes cross each other paths. We worked in 'Mirzapur' and we had a very casual relationship in 'Mirzapur'. It's a completely different relationship in 'Kaalkoot'. We had shared the comfort of knowing each other but we shared new dynamics too as a relationship. Working with her is very easy because she is a very sincere and committed actor. She is also easy and fun to be around and I had a great time,'' he shared.

Vijay and Shweta will be sharing the same screen space in 'Mirzapur 3. They have wrapped up the shoot.
