Earlier in the day on November 15, it was reported that Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja will be hosting football legend David Beckham at their home in Mumbai. Ever since then, there have been speculations about who will be part of the bash, considering it was rumoured to be a private party.
Now finally, confirming the same, a video of David Beckham heading to Sonam and Anand’s Mumbai home has surfaced online. In a video shared by a renowned paparazzi, Beckham is first seen posing alone and he also does a namaste to the shutterbugs present at the location.Later, he is joined by Sonam and Anand as the trio posed together for the cameras.

“David Beckham is in India for his UNICEF commitment as a Global Ambassador and he will be meeting Sonam and Anand during his trip to Mumbai. The power-couple will be hosting David today when he is in Mumbai and have invited the crème de la crème icons of the city for a dinner at their residence!” a news report quoted a source as saying.
“It is a very private affair. We are hearing only 25 people have made the cut for this grand soirée. Sonam and Anand are major entrepreneurs themselves, with Anand being at the top of the heap with a business empire. Sonam is Bollywood royalty and a global fashion icon,” the source added.
“Let’s look at David now. He is a global icon, his wife too is a fashion icon. Together, they are pop culture shapers of the world. So, there could be more than what meets the eye about this dinner. Let’s wait and watch!” the source concluded.
As for Beckham, before heading to Sonam and Anand’s residence, he was seen enjoying the IND v NZ semi-final in Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium. He and Virat Kohli were enjoying a bit of football before the match, and Beckham was also seen talking to Indian players ahead of the toss.
Sonam Kapoor was last seen in the 2023 film Blind, with Purab Kohli.
