Sonam Kapoor Shares Stunning Pictures Of Her London Home As She Celebrates Mother’s Day

Sonam Kapoor credited 'incredibly talented desis' who gave her London home a makeover on Mother's Day.

Sonam Kapoor celebrated her first Mother's Day in the UK and hosted a lavish dinner party on the occasion. She also shared some glimpses of the celebrations apart from her newly revamped house. Sonam and her husband-businessman Anand Ahuja reside in their Notting Hill home in London with their son Vayu Kapoor Ahuja.

Sonam posted pictures from her get-together with her friends, and how her home was decorated 'inspired by the colours of spring' by ‘incredibly talented desis'. Taking to her Instagram, Sonam shared the pictures as she wore a red and black outfit. She also shared pictures of the table which was decorated with yellow taper candles and flowers. The brightly coloured orange wall was full of balloons and Sonam also gave a glimpse of the menu which had a host of dishes. In the last picture, one can see several snack trays and bowls.

The actress captioned the post as, "Spending Mothering Sunday or (Mother’s Day in the United kingdom) with my friends and ushering in the new season by decorating the house inspired by the colours of spring. Everything that’s been done in the house in such spectacular style is by incredibly talented desis! Shout out to @theeventbuilders @grazing_girls and @ranipinkliving #mamasday #springcolours #blooms #mothersday (camera emoji) @moeez."

Reacting to the post, her husband Anand wrote, "Can I get a tag on slide 7 please … not cause I did anything here but cause it says my name,” adding, "PS looking (fire emojis) @sonamkapoor … stylin’ ; vibin’." Her mother Sunita Kapoor commented with red heart emojis.

Sonam and Anand tied the knot on May 8, 2018, after dating for several years. The couple welcomed their first child, a baby boy Vayu on August 20, 2022, in Mumbai. The actress will next be seen in upcoming film ‘Blind’ directed by Shome Makhija. The project also stars Purab Kohli, Vinay Pathak and Lillete Dubey in vital roles.
