At a recent event, Fahadh Faasil revealed that he has been diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). The actor was last seen in 'Aavesham.'
Actor Fahadh Faasil is currently basking in the success of ‘Aavesham’ where he played the role of the local goon – Ranga. Amidst this success, the actor is currently working on multiple other films and is making public appearances. At a recent event, the actor revealed that he had been diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
At the inauguration of a school in Kothamangalam, Fahadh Faasil talked about being diagnosed with ADHD when he was 41. “While walking through the premises of the school, I inquired whether it's easy to cure ADHD. I was told, that if diagnosed in childhood, it is possible. I asked whether it could be cured if diagnosed at 41. That's when I was clinically diagnosed with ADHD,” said the actor as quoted by Manorama Online.
The actor addressed the audience and continued, “If you can smile when you see me, that's the greatest thing I can do for you.”
ADHD is a neurodevelopmental condition characterized by challenges with attention, hyperactivity, and impulsiveness. It typically starts in childhood and can continue into adulthood. Symptoms of ADHD include difficulty maintaining attention, excessive activity levels, intense focus on specific tasks (hyperfocus), and impulsive behavior. Additionally, individuals with ADHD often exhibit nonlinear thinking patterns, which can enhance their creativity.
On the work front, Faasil was last seen in ‘Aavesham’ which is available to stream on Amazon Prime Video after a successful run in theatres. He will be next seen in ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ where he will share the screen with Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna. He is also working on ‘Vettaiyan’ where he will be starring alongside superstar Rajinikanth. He also has ‘Maareesan’ in his line along with these anticipated projects.
