The 'Blank Space' singer Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs, National Football League player Travis Kelce have been making headlines ever since rumours of them dating sparked in September. The two confirmed their relationship in October as they were spotted holding hands at a 'Saturday Night Live' afterparty. A close source told PEOPLE magazine the couple is still in the "super, super early days" of getting to know one another but also are "having fun."

Jul 8: Kelce Attends The Eras Tour 

In July, sharp-eyed Swifties noticed Travis Kelce attending Swift's gigantic Eras Tour at Arrowhead Stadium. The athlete was seen enjoying the show from his private box and exchanging friendship bracelets with fans inside the venue.

Jul 26: Kelce Tries To Give His Phone Number To Swift

Kelce revealed that he actually tried (and failed) to meet Swift after one of her shows. "I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings," Kelce said on his podcast 'New Heights.' He said, "If you’re up on Taylor Swift concerts, there are friendship bracelets, and I received a bunch of them being there, but I wanted to give Taylor Swift one with my number on it." He added, "She doesn’t meet anybody, or at least she didn’t want to meet me, so I took it personal."

The jokes about their relationship began when NFL Network's Rich Eisen incorporated numerous Swift references while discussing the tight end before the Kansas City Chiefs and Jacksonville Jaguars game. A segment from the show went viral after being posted on Instagram. Given the speculations, Eisen kept the puns coming as he captioned the upload, “Look what you made me do, @killatrav.” (referring to one of her hit songs). During an appearance on 'DeCamara & Ritchie on Audacy's SportsRadio 94 WIP,' Kelce’s brother Jason was asked to address the dating rumors. After previously keeping quiet about the matter, Jason said that the report was “100% true,” which basically confirmed the news.

However, the audio and his tone clarified that he’s “joking” about knowing their relationship's status. "It's hard to answer because I don't really know a lot about Travis' love life,” Jason told the radio hosts. “I try to keep his business kind of his business, stay out of that world." Following this, Kelce clarified the situation during an interview on 'The Pat McAfee Show,' explaining how he "threw the ball in [Swift’s] court" by inviting her to witness his game at Arrowhead Stadium, the same venue where she had previously held her Eras Tour performance, and he attended.

The NFL star said, "I think it’s, right now, it’s like an old game in school called telephone, where everyone’s just whispering in each other’s ear, just hearing some random stuff, and then you got, you know, no one actually knows what’s going on, especially when you’ve got Jason Kelce on live television telling people just both sides—he doesn’t know, it’s true, it’s this and that."

Swifties and football enthusiasts went into a frenzy when Swift made an unexpected appearance at Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs game on Sep 24. The singer was seen enjoying the game from Kelce's suite alongside his mother Donna, enthusiastically cheering as Kelce scored a touchdown. Post-game, the two were spotted leaving together, with Swift sporting Kansas City Chiefs jersey and Kelce dressed in a blue and white denim outfit.

According to a source speaking to PEOPLE, Swift, upon receiving the invite to attend the football game, didn't hesitate to accept despite her hectic schedule. "Taylor is very focused on work right now and hanging out with her girlfriends," the source said. "Travis invited her to the game, and of course she said 'yes.'" The source added, "She just thought it was a fantastic way to spend a Sunday."

Sep 27: Kelce Talks About His Future With Swift On His Podcast

On an episode of his podcast, Kelce said, "I’m enjoying life and I sure as hell enjoyed this weekend," as he talked about his night with Swift. "Shout out to Taylor for pulling up. That was pretty ballsy," Kelce said about how he felt having the 'Delicate' singer in his suite during the game. 

"I just thought it was awesome how everybody in the suite had nothing but great things to say about her — the friends and family. She looked amazing and everybody was talking about her in great light," he said, adding that the cherry on top was that "the day went perfect for Chiefs fans of course," citing their 41-10 win over the Chicago Bears.

On Oct 1, Swift was seen at MetLife Stadium during Kelce's team match against the New York Jets in New Jersey. TMZ reveals that Travis purchased a $6 million house so that the couple can have better privacy and security, and keep their relationship low-key. Meanwhile, a source tells Entertainment Tonight that "they have a lot of fun together and she loves how chivalrous he is. Taylor feels at ease with Travis and they are already very comfortable around each other."

A source reveals to the Daily Mail that “Taylor is blown away right now and her family is all about Travis. She is trying to keep it together, but is obviously falling in love with him and he feels the same way.” Adding to that, “He actually courted her and she feels like she is the luckiest girl in the world right now. It is no coincidence that all she had to do was look outside of Hollywood.”

Oct 22: Swift Attends Kelce's Kansas City Chiefs Game

Sporting Chiefs red attire, including a vintage sweatshirt and a friendship bracelet adorned with Kelce's number, the singer proudly supported Kelce, seen cheering alongside Brittany Mahomes in the box. Following Swift's attendance at Kelce's game, they were seen spending time with Kelce's teammate Mecole Hardman Jr. and his girlfriend Chariah Gordon.

On Oct 23, Gordon took to Instagram to post several photos, seemingly captured at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. Among the lovely pictures, was one where Swift affectionately kissed Kelce on the cheek while posing with Hardman and his girlfriend.

After various speculations about their relationship's status, a source told PEOPLE magazine that things between the two are getting serious. "It's quickly turning more serious. They share a strong work ethic and have a huge appreciation for life and their careers, strong family bond and values," the source said. Kelce is also "sweet, goofy and just a blast to be around," added the source.

Another source reveals to Us Weekly that “Travis and Taylor are a very real couple, they actually spend a lot of one-on-one time together and have developed a very real connection. They have very detailed plans coming up on how to stay together while she’s on tour and he has games.”

Kelce was spotted grooving to the singer's hits at the Eras Tour as he sat with the singer's dad in the VIP section. During the show, Swift gave her partner a shoutout as she changed the lyrics of her song 'Karma' to, “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs, coming straight home to me,” causing Kelce to turn pink. I had somebody playing Cupid," he explained. The NFL star went on to say that she is different than anyone he's been with before, and that they bond over the love they have for their families.
