As per a report by Variety, the Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial Tamil language action film has earned $48.5 million worldwide in just four days, which is higher than the cumulative performance of Leonardo DiCaprio's 'Killers of the Flower Moon'.
Martin Scorsese's 'Killers of the Flower Moon', also starring Lily Gladstone and Robert De Niro, stands just behind at $44 million. The movie premiered at the 76th Cannes Film Festival on May 20, 2023, and was released in theatres on October 20, 2023.
Talking about 'Leo's domestic box office collection, it made Rs 179.85 crore in four days as per Sacnilk. It collected Rs 39.80 crore with its Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi versions on its first Saturday. The first and second days collections were Rs 64 crore and Rs 35 crore.
'Leo' has received mixed reviews from critics and audiences. The film also stars Trisha Krishnan, Sanjay Dutt, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mysskin, and Mansoor Ali Khan among others.
