In the Ranbir Kapoor starrer, though Triptii had less screen space, her performance was highly praised by the audiences and critics. Post the film, she became the 'National Crush' of the nation and her Instagram followers have skyrocketed. She has also become the most popular Indian celebrity on IMDb. Now, the diva is hogging the limelight for her dating rumours. It is said that Triptii is dating dating model-turned-businessman, named Sam Merchant. For the unversed, the 'Qala' actress was rumoured to be in a relationship with Anushka Sharma’s brother Karnesh Ssharma. They reportedly broke up. 

Triptii and Sam's dating rumours started after the actress recently attended a wedding function with Sam. Several pictures from the wedding are doing the rounds on social media. In one pic, the rumoured couple twinned in white. Another picture was a selfie of the actress with Sam Merchant. After the pic went viral, netizens started speculating that Triptii has again found love in Sam.
