Vicky Kaushal shared how he has learned discipline from his wife's dedicated approach.
Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif are one of the most loved Bollywood couples, and they often are seen supporting each other’s films, from attending each other’s film screenings to sharing mutual admiration for each other. But not just their public appearances, the two also get candid about each other and their life lessons apart from sharing their marriage insights.
In a recent interview, Vicky revealed how Katrina has influenced his fashion choices. He also mentioned how he learned discipline from his wife. He also mentioned how Katrina goes into the “beast mode” when she has to shoot for a song or an action sequence.
Asked what has he learned from his wife, Vicky told Ranveer Allahbadia, “On the surface level she has added what kind of clothes should I wear because she is like, ‘Kya joker banke ja raha hai ye (He is walking out dressed like a joker)’ She has literally held my hand and pulled me back saying that you will not step out like this. I asked her, ‘Ismein kya galat hai? (What is wrong in this?)’ And she said, ‘kuch.’ I was like okay.”
Talking about her discipline, Vicky said, “Jokes apart, I would say, she is a beast when she has a song or an action sequence coming up. She goes mental five months before that. She goes on diet changes and all the changes. I have not seen many people be so disciplined. I have learnt that from her. I realise that aise he nahi hai ye, she has achieved this reputation because she puts in that work till date and that’s what stimulates her. She is super unemotional about it. Like you got to do what you got to do and that has really helped me.”
As for their work, Katrina was last seen in ‘Tiger 3’. Vicky’s latest ‘Sam Bahadur’ is set to hit the theatres on Friday, and the film shows him taking the role of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw in the Meghan Gulzar directorial. It will clash with Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal’, which is releasing on December 1 as well.
