Vijay Deverakonda Finally Reacts To Rumours Of His Engagement With Rashmika Mandanna

There have been several speculations that Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna will get engaged in February.

Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Madannna have been making headlines lately after reports of their engagement surfaced on social media. It was said that the celebrated couple will get engaged in February. However, Vijay Deverakonda, in a recent interview with Lifestyle Asia, has finally claimed that there’s no truth to it as he finally broke his silence about his engagement with Rashmika.

He said, "I’m not getting engaged or married in February. It feels like the press just wants to get me married every two years. I hear this rumour every year. They’re just walking around waiting to catch me and get me married.” Well, if that’s what the actor has to say, we only have a choice to believe him.

Meanwhile, the rumours of them getting engaged gained momentum after several media reports claimed so. In fact, as per a Hindustan Times report, Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika are living together. The news portal quoted a source as saying, “They are living together, are happy and content with how their relationship is going, and don’t feel the need to get engaged at the moment. Also, they are focused on their work at the moment, so they are not planning to get engaged anytime soon.”

It cannot go unnoticed that Vijay and Rashmika are said to be in a relationship for quite some time, however, they have not accepted it publicly. Recently, Mandanna celebrated Diwali at Deverakonda's house in Hyderabad, and they are often seen going on vacations together. During one of her airport sightings, the actress was seen wearing the same hoodie once Vijay wore.

Work wise, they have acted in two films - 'Geetha Govindam' and 'Dear Comrade'. Both the films received a lot of love from the audience. Vijay was last seen in 'Kushi', and now shooting for 'Family Star' and director Gowtam Tinnanuri's 'VD 12'. Rashmika has an interesting line-up of films, including, Allu Arjun's 'Pushpa: The Rule', 'Rainbow', 'The Girlfriend' and 'Chaava'.
