The Hindi version of 'Marvel’s Wastelanders: Star-Lord', an Amazon Original podcast series on Audible has an extraordinary cast including Saif Ali Khan and Vrajesh Hirjee. The podcast, directed by Mantra Mugdh has provided listeners a never-before auditory experience. It has voices of Saif Ali Khan as Peter Quill, renamed as Star-Lord, and his mate, Rocket Raccoon (Vrajesh Hirjee). This version with colloquial Mumbai Hindi has now become fan-favourite.

We had a conversation with Vrajesh where he spoke about the podcast, reuniting with Saif after 'Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein' and a lot more. Vrajesh said that he and Saif Ali Khan did 3/4 of the show and the rest they did in their own personal spaces as they had their own respective shoots. He added, "My performance was not dull as there were no other actors. The audio medium is such kind of thing that in my headphones I had sounds of other characters and even if it was not there, I had the script and Mantra Mugdh was always there and I was always performing my part whether it was with Saif or without him".

On reuniting with the Nawab of Pataudi, Hirjee said, "After 'Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein', I met Saif saab for the first time. It was like a reunion of 'RHTDM' as we both hugged each other. It was really beautiful. I want to thank Mantra and Audible that they gave the opportunity to reunite with Saif saab once again on a professional level. He is such a beautiful man and of course, as a professional, he is cutting edge. It was a joyous experience working with him."

While talking about the challenge of audio medium, he said, "The challenge is inherent in audio and as an actor, it's my duty how I overcome it. So, as a performer, I go with that mindset only. And if other actors react differently, I get to listen and then I modify myself and sometimes my director also tells. As I have been acting, so I didn't face any difficulty."

He added, "I have been hosting a radio show since five years. If I am hosting a breakfast show as an RJ, I am sitting in my own space alone and that's also an audio medium. I have done solo performances on stage in front of a live audience. For an actor, whether he is on stage or behind the mic or even if he is writing something, it's a very frightful place. But if you make that fear your friend, then there is no problem. You fear because you don't have the feedback of immediate gratification. But this is the exam. As I have been working in different mediums, so I don't face any hurdles."

Vrajesh has been a huge fan of Marvel World since childhood and he has followed each comic book and movie. If he had to choose one character then we would choose supervillain, Doctor Doom.
