In a video that has gone viral, actor Bobby Deol was seen turning emotional as paps praised him for 'Animal' and its box office performance.
'Animal' has set the box office on fire despite getting mixed reviews. The film has been bashed for showing toxic masculinity, violence, misogyny and whatnot. The Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial stars Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol. The action drama opened with great numbers on Day 1. It has entered the coveted Rs 100 crore club in just two days of its release.
As paparazzi congratulated Bobby Deol for 'Animal' success, he turned emotional and broke into tears.
On Saturday, Bobby was spotted in the city in a grey hoodie with matching pants. As paps showered him with praises and rave reviews for 'Animal'. Bobby told them, “Thank you so much. God has been really kind. Itna pyaar mil raha hai iss film ke liye lagta hai ki sapna dekh raha hu (The love our film is getting feels like a dream).”
As Bobby broke down into tears, he was seen being consoled by his staff and team. He was seen wiping his tears before getting into his car.

Bobby Deol plays the antagonist in the film who has a face-off with Ranbir Kapoor's character. Anil Kapoor plays Ranbir's father and Rashmika is Ranbir's on-screen wife.
'Animal' locked horns with Vicky Kaushal starrer 'Sam Bahadur'. The Meghna Gulzar directorial is also doing good business at the box office.
