Watch: Bobby Deol Talks About His Debut In South Cinema, Shares His Favourite Song From ‘Animal’

Looking ahead, post the success of ‘Animal’, Bobby Deol is working on a project in the South Indian film industry. 

Bobby Deol is getting love from all corners post the portrayal of Abrar Haque in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Animal’, which is headlined by Ranbir Kapoor. Now post the success bash of the film, which was held in Mumbai recently, Bobby Deol shared a video of himself answering various questions about the film. While he revealed his favourite dialogue and song from ‘Animal’, Bobby also hinted at his upcoming debut in the South film industry. 

At the success bash, Bobby looked dapper as always. Revealing how his wife, Tanya Deol, styled him for the ‘Animal’ success bash, Bobby showcased his all-Prada ensemble, and said, “I am dressed in Prada. It’s all Prada. My wife styled me. She makes me look good.” Sharing his favourite song from ‘Animal’, Bobby said, “It has to be Jamal Kudu.” The song “Jamal Kudu” was his character Abrar’s entry song as well. 

When asked about Abrar’s hypothetical superpower, the actor quipped, “Peace to the world. Peace and happiness.” Further when Bobby was questioned, “If Abrar had one dialogue in Animal what would it be?” He was quick to reply, “Tu aur tu idhar aa,” while doing the action as well. 

Now moving ahead, Bobby is looking forward to projects, particularly in the South Indian film industry. He said, “It’s in South industry and I am very excited working with this director. He is such a sweetheart. I call him Teddy bear. I am working with a great actor and the cast and the crew…the team is just awesome. So, I am looking forward to that.”

The actor shared the video on social media and captioned it as, “Falling short of words to describe this feeling. Grateful to each and everyone of you for showering #TeamAnimal & Abrar with unconditional love 🙏✨.” Bobby’s brother and actor Sunny Deol commented on the post with heart emojis.

‘Animal’ has been raking in moolah ever since the film released on December 1. The film’s domestic box office collection stands at Rs 550.85 crore nett, and its global earnings have reached Rs 899.9 crore, and close to joining the Rs 900 crore club milestone worldwide. 

The over three-hour-long film is bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar's T-Series, Murad Khetani's Cine1 Studios, and Pranay Reddy Vanga's Bhadrakali Pictures. It also stars Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Triptii Dimri and others.
