The 1.5-litre engines will make less power than existing 1.6-litre engines of the Creta.
The 1.5-litre diesel engine will, however, produce more torque than the 1.6-litre diesel.
Seltos’ 1.4-litre turbo petrol is also expected on the Creta.
2020 Creta will get connected car tech and will be more feature-rich than its current version.
The second-gen Creta will go on sale by March 2020.
