The iconic Bajaj Pulsar 220F is the latest motorcycle to join the ABS bandwagon
Bajaj has been silently updating its lineup with ABS since a few weeks now. The latest model to get the essential safety feature is the ever popular Bajaj Pulsar 220F. Priced at Rs 1,05,254 (ex-showroom Pune), the ABS variant commands a premium of Rs 7,600 over the standard model.
As expected, it gets a single-channel ABS unit. In fact, it is the same unit that we've seen on the Bajaj Pulsar NS 200 and the Bajaj Pulsar RS 200. It now also gets rear-wheel lift mitigation. While the bike hasn't received any major changes overall, it was recently updated with new graphics and an underbelly fairing to keep it fresh.
It continues to be powered by the same 220cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine as before. This unit churns out 21PS of power and 19Nm of torque. Transmission duties are handled by a 5-speed gearbox.
The Bajaj Pulsar 220F has easily been the brand's most consistent seller for over a decade now. To this day, it continues to attract an avid fan following, thanks to its unique design and attractive pricing. Till then, watch this space to stay updated.
