Ford Figo Prices Updated; Top Variants Become More Affordable

But base-spec Ambient variant gets more expensive by up to Rs 18,000

  • The Ford Figo facelift was launched on March 15.

  • Prices revised in just over a month since its launch.

  • Available in three variants: Trend (base-spec), Titanium and Titanium Blu (top-spec).

  • Entry-level petrol variant becomes pricier by Rs 8,000; diesel by Rs 18,000.

  • Top-spec Titanium Blu variant gets a price drop of upto Rs 39,000.

  • The Figo petrol-AT is now Rs 39,000 more affordable than before.

It’s been just over a month since the launch of the 2019 Ford Figo facelift. However, the carmaker has decided to revise the prices of the hatchback already. While the entry-level Ambiente variant has become a bit pricier than before, the mid-spec Titanium and top-spec Titanium Blu variants are now more affordable. Here’s how the new prices stack up against the old prices (ex-showroom Delhi).

Petrol

Diesel

The 2019 Figo offers dual front airbags, ABS with EBD and rear parking sensors as standard.  The entry-level diesel variant is now more expensive than the mid-spec Titanium petrol variant. In the Titanium variant, the petrol version is now more affordable by Rs 39,000 while the diesel engine option gets a price cut of Rs 20,000.

The Titanium variant is also available with a petrol-AT option. This version has received  a price cut of Rs 39,000. Meanwhile, the top-spec Titanium Blu petrol variant is more affordable by Rs 29,000 while the diesel option gets a price cut of Rs 19,000.

Let’s see how these updated prices affect the Figo’s pricing factor in comparison to its competition:

The top-end Figo is now more attractively priced than before and even the most powerful variant with the 1.5-litre petrol mated to a 6-speed automatic is less expensive than the top-spec Swift petrol-AMT. Also, the Titanium Blu diesel variant is the most affordable top-spec diesel hatchback available in the segment. Thanks to these revised prices, the updated Ford hatchback is now a more attractive package for customers.

Ford launched the 2019 Figo with three powertrain options: a 1.2-litre petrol engine paired to a 5-speed manual (96PS/120Nm), a 1.5-litre diesel engine with a 5-speed manual (100PS/215Nm) and a 1.5-litre petrol engine mated to a 6-speed AT (123PS/150Nm).
