Mahindra’s European plan includes a new 7-seater, codenamed S204, based on the Tivoli XLV.
Mahindra XUV300 also utilises a modified version of the regular Tivoli’s platform.
It is expected to be launched there in 2022, which could be followed by an India arrival.
Production-spec model, to slot between the XUV500 and XUV300 in India, could be named the XUV400.
It is expected to rival the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos.
India-spec likely to get both petrol and diesel engines.
The S204/XUV400 could come in 5- and 7-seater versions
