Mahindra is having another go at the sub-4m compact SUV segment with the XUV300, which is set to launch on 14 February 2019. This time around, the carmaker has prepared a package that looks good, packs loads of features along with a set of powerful and torquey engines. The new Mahindra XUV300 will be available in a choice of four variants: W4, W6, W8 and W8(O). The sub-compact SUV will be powered by a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine and a 1.5-litre turbo-diesel. Both the engines will be paired with a manual transmission only at launch. Here’s what we expect the XUV300 to be priced at.
Disclaimer: These are the ex-showroom estimates and final prices might vary.
We expect Mahindra to price the XUV300 in a way that it takes the fight directly to rivals like the Maruti Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon and Ford EcoSport. The Mahindra XUV300 gets many features that its rivals do not, so it is possible that it is priced at a premium over the competition.
For now, here is the current ex-showroom Delhi price range of all the rivals.
